Ledger, 1834-1837.

Records debits and credits accrued by Griffith for a variety of blacksmithing activities from 1834 to 1837. He performed such tasks as horseshoeing; making nails, bolts, and other iron objects; sharpening shears and scissors; repairing plows, tools, and related implements; making and repairing wagon parts; and splicing tong chains. Most of his customers paid with cash.
